Dark Runny Honey - 454g net

Local dark honey from our apiaries in Maidenhead, Bray & Windsor Great Park.  The bees occassionally produce this in late summer and often it is honeydew from the aphids on the trees around the apiaries which gives a delightful dark ruby red honey when held up to the light.

Very occassionally the bees produce a dark red colour from the bell heather and ling heather found in Valley Gardens, Windsor Great Park. In September and October the himalayan balsam and ivy often produce a strong nectar flow.  This honey can have quite a strong flavour.
